Gentles Guidance Ltd, was established by Marie Gentles OBE in 2020. Previously the Headteacher of an Outstanding Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) provision, she identified a significant need for any adult who has children or works with children, to fully understand behaviour as communication.
Marie is a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) and a Behaviour Advisor for the government. She is also trained in the Solihull Approach.
Marie is a keynote speaker and supports schools, services and families through her speeches and digital training programme, to implement practical, manageable ways to modify behaviour, via a bespoke approach which meets the varying needs of children and young people. This preventative approach for children and young people of all ages, is based upon securing the emotional safety of a child.
This unique approach is not only what differentiates Marie’s gentle guidance, but also what makes it so successful.
